Center for Climate Justice & Sustainable Development (CCJSD)

The Center for Climate Justice & Sustainable Development (CCJSD) operates as a specialized program and policy unit under PATH Bangladesh, integrating climate action, advocating environmental law & justice, policy reform, and sustainable development into a structured implementation model.

• Emergency Health Services in Climate Crises: We establish mobile healthcare units and rapid response teams that can be deployed during disasters to ensure healthcare access, water purification, and sanitation.
• Building Climate Resilience in Vulnerable Communities: We focus on coastal and flood-prone communities, helping them build resilience through sustainable livelihoods, education, and infrastructure improvements.
• Advocating for Stronger Climate Policies: PATH Bangladesh experts work with policymakers to strengthen Bangladesh’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement, ensuring that national policies align with global climate targets.
• Engaging with Global Climate Networks: We collaborate with international organizations, donors, and climate funds to bring financial resources, technical expertise, and innovation to climate action in Bangladesh.
• Public-Private Partnerships for Sustainability: We promote partnerships between the public sector, private companies, and civil society to drive investment in renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and low-carbon infrastructure.

Center for Inclusive Education & Social Mobility (CIESM)

The Center for Inclusive Education & Social Mobility (CIESM) works as a structured program unit under PATH Bangladesh, focused on removing barriers to education and creating upward mobility pathways for marginalized communities.

We equip young individuals with essential training, which includes communication, digital literacy (both basic and advanced computer skills), civic journalism, entrepreneurship, health and hygiene, and basic legal awareness. This empowers them to navigate challenges, build self-confidence, and make a significant impact in their communities. 

Our initiatives create safe and inclusive spaces that empower young individuals to grow, take on leadership responsibilities, and drive meaningful change in their communities. The objective is to drive meaningful transformation in their lives, which will resonate across the nation.
